I have chronic Neuro Lyme. Diagnosed a year ago but likely have had it since childhood. I also tested positive for RMSF and Mycoplasma. And I have symptoms of Bartonella. I'm a 31 yr old married mother of three. Just found out that my husband and oldest came back positive for Lyme. My youngest two have symptoms as well... we are saving to get them tested. My twin sister also has neuro. Lyme. I just found out I probably have parathyroid tumor also. Only God gets me through.
Treatments
- Amoxicillin Working / Worked
- Amox. was the first abx I was put on. Major herxing on it (850 mg 2X day) Took it for three months before put on Zithromax and then Doxy. I have, so far in the past year, only been on monotherapy.
- Doxycycline Working / Worked
- I am 80 better than I was a little over a year ago when I first started treatment. Ive been on Doxy for about 6 months. I have not made it up to the standard 400mg a day yet.
