Someone Special

Let me tell you about someone

That is special to me in everyway.

Her smile is as warm as sunshine,

Seeing her brings me joy everyday.

Even when we do not touch

I can feel her presences in the room

I am calmed and tranquil

Like in a field of flowers in full bloom.

She is a true and rare treasure,

A gift from God and a blessing from above

To her I pledge the rest of my life,

She is the one that fills my world with love.

Yes, we’ve had our ups and downs.

But when the day was done, love proved true.

We set our foolish prides aside,

And asked God’s guidance on what we should do.

After all these years together,

She has been mother, wife, lover and friend.

In my heart it seems like yesterday,

And I thank the Lord above she’ll be there till the end.

In case you haven’t guessed my special someone is my

Queen Barb, Wife of almost 38 years now.
