Heed His Call

Good Christians heed your Masters’ call,

And share His blessing to one and all.

The winters’ chill will soon be about,

Its’ cold and snow will come no doubt.

The poor and hungry can be found,

With needs great opportunity abound.

Our Father provides more than our need,

That we may the poor and hungry feed.

Those who are gripped in hungers’ pain,

Cry out to us their bodies to sustain.

Those that shiver in winters’ frozen stare,

Turn to us seeking comfort and care.

Give food and drink, feed them well,

So hearts may hear the story we tell.

Wrap them in a blanket of warmth and love,

Then reveal to them about our God above.

As we comfort them from the cold,

And to their hearts the stories told,

We strive to achieve our Masters’ goal,

Helping others body, mind and soul.

We are not ashamed of what we do,

But live in the love of Him who is true.

With unchained hearts we reach out,

To calm fears; freeing them from doubt.

In these times don’t let our hearts grow cold,

But let us stand together strong and bold.

We the body of Christ are to serve them,

So they too may know the love of Him.

Heart Condition

It’s a matter of the heart that sets us apart.

When the heart is true, it shows in what we do.

Our words will be sure, when the heart is pure.

And our actions will proclaim His loving name.

It’s a heart condition, when in total submission,

We show love to others, our sisters and brothers.

Walking that extra mile with a heartfelt smile,

Not by what we’ve done, but by God’s own Son.

Blind leading the blind, will only get left behind.

When we’re caring and kind, we let His light shine.

As we plaint the seed, with a kind word or deed,

Then a heart once cold, will beat strong and bold.

As we display His love, we point to God above.

Telling of the love He shows helps it to grow.

As He reached out to us and taught us to trust,

Let us stand as brothers, reaching out to others.

We speak let it be true, to do what we say we’ll do.

Let us not fuss, but remember what was done for us.

And in like manner, let us raise His Holy banner.

Let us show the world it’s true, God does love you.
