Have had back probs since early teens..by time drs took notice ,i had ddd..herneated discs 3 levels..2 risky to op on...on/off sciatica...constant pain...anyone with a back prob ,will understand..

exellent for chronic pain ,

Acupuncture Working / Worked

Dr did this ,reading from a book..then nurse tried..both hit nerves each time..wouldnt do again..ouch!!

Bedrest Working / Worked

Don`t unless i have to,then..well ,if you`ve back issues ,you`ll know how this works...

Cortisone (Injection) Working / Worked

These are pretty good..

Epidural Injection Working / Worked

Another treatment given by an unexperienced dr..only worked down one side...consider ,but only as last resort..

Heat Working / Worked

Helps sometimes..

Hydrocodone Working / Worked

Dhc...not bad for intermittent pain..one of the few p/meds that didn`t have nasty side effects...

Ibuprofen Working / Worked

Severe allergy...nuff said..

Morphine Working / Worked

Take the 160mg x2(capsules..cont)..and liquid morphine for breakthrough...working....mostly..

Physical Therapy Working / Worked

Waiting lists 2 long..and not consistant enough therapy..shame as it`s good for stiffness etc..

Relaxation Working / Worked

rest.but can`t sit/lay 2 long..only seize up more...

Stretching Working / Worked

Trying 2 persevere,but tend to trap a nerve somewhere!!

Oh no!just adds another kind of pain..

Only if needed..good for muscle relaxation...
