I lost my 17 year old son on 12/11/05 when the house he was sleeping over one night caught fire and killed my son and his 2 best friends. I also have 2 young daughters who keep me standing and breathing. If it were not for them and my friends here on DS (and my knitting, LOL) I don't know how I could have survived until now. I'm a mother of 3.My 17 year old died last year in a house fire while sleeping over a friend's house. I also have a 12 year old daughter, who, in addition to the normal teen issues, is dealing with the loss of her brother as well. I need all the advice I can get!
I have a wonderful 6-yearold daughter named Brooke Lynn. She is currently grieving the loss of her big brother, Jon, age 17, who was killed in a fire last year. So I feel like I have lost touch with what is "normal" behavior and what may be associated with her loss.
Just been diagnosed, been going to pain clinic/specialist...not sure if he knows what he's doing...I JUST HURT SO BAD!

After the tragic death of my 17 year old son, my 2 younger daughters returned to school after a brief break. Some of the kids were just unbelievably cruel, and one of my girls had a mental break. Homeschooling saved my babies!
