Oh honey - I feel terrible because I can't recall responding to you. I am so, so sorry for your loss. Bless you. How dare that doctor treat you in that manner? I can't imagine what you're going through. Did they at least check your cortisol levels? That will provide the answer about Addison's. And yes, I do feel pain below my sternum - absolutely. - Cymbalta Working / Worked
- I was already suffering from severe back and limb pain/fibromyalgia, when my 17 year old son was killed in a fire. After a few days on Cymbalta, my physical pain was miraculously gone, but I don't know if it totally helps with my deep grief just yet. And I still have anxiety a lot, but then I take Ativan for that on occasion.
- Ambien Somewhat Helpful
- Helped me sleep, but I woke up with God-awful headaches
Close Parenting Teenagers (12-18)
I'm a mother of 3.My 17 year old died last year in a house fire while sleeping over a friend's house. I also have a 12 year old daughter, who, in addition to the normal teen issues, is dealing with the loss of her brother as well. I need all the advice I can get!

- I am now homeschooling my 12 year old, she had a mental breakdown over the loss of her brother, and the cruelty of kids at school.

I have a wonderful 6-yearold daughter named Brooke Lynn. She is currently grieving the loss of her big brother, Jon, age 17, who was killed in a fire last year. So I feel like I have lost touch with what is "normal" behavior and what may be associated with her loss.

I hurt all over, all the time, for 5 years now. Diagnosed with spinal disorders and fibromyalgia, and I want to see how others are dealing with it. I feel like half of my doctors think I am a :drug-seeking freak" and it is so humiliating to practically have to BEG for relief.

After the tragic death of my 17 year old son, my 2 younger daughters returned to school after a brief break. Some of the kids were just unbelievably cruel, and one of my girls had a mental break. Homeschooling saved my babies!
