Happy New Year to …
I am very happily married to a wonderful man. We have a small dog, several hens, and a rooster. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in June 1978, when I was 17 years old. I have had one surgery, December 2002 (Ileocolectomy/resection) which progressed to Crohn's / Colitis a few years later. Doing pretty good these days. I have learned to live (a fairly normal life) with Crohn's disease. I am a very happy person and am thankful for each day. I wish you well and hope to hear about your experiences.

My husband and I are both outdoors people, fishing, camping, etc. We also enjoy sports and staying active. We live in a very wooded area and love being surrounded by tall trees instead of concrete buildings. Enjoy yourself today and every day!

Hey Havent been on in here in such a long time. Having a pretty bad day today. Just all around depressed. Remicade isnt exactly working the way i would like, but none of the drugs ever do. Getting a little stressed out with the new baby on the way. I also hate where we are right now. Im so frustrated living in this town and in this house. Grrrrr I just dont know what to do with myself right now. I'm stuck at home all the time to. We only have the one vehicle and i can't even get out of the house to go for walks. It's soooooo frustrating. :( Sorry to vent like this but i don't really have anyone to talk to here. I hate telling my local friends about my problem. It always turns around on me :(. But anyways hope all is well down there. Hope to talk to you soon.
Big hugs! My colitis has been awful and my hiatal hernia so I'm off to G.I. doc Tuesday. So can't wait to hopefully get some help. I don't care what it is I just can't keep going like this. Counting my blessings though. Looking forward to going to grocery store today. I got my Christmas shopping done except for Tom. He hasn't felt real well either. Wish he would go to doctor. Made a holiday centerpiece for my table. Love it. Time to take Clarke out for potty and give him breakfast. Hasn't been too cold here. God bless you friend. Wishing you and family good health, love Jennay
So....what are your Halloween plans? Boo! I have house already decorated end to end LOL
Hey Patti, Val was in hospital couple of days with serious pain on one side where her pancreas is. They gave her a bunch through an IV and ran tests but came to no conclusion other than it was complications with Chrone's and her pancreas inflamed. She is on her way home now. I still worry because I feel nothing was solved. Keep her in your prayers. Hugs and love, Jennay
I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in June 1978, at the age of 17. I have had one surgery, December 2002,(Ileocolectomy/resection) due to severe narrowing. I am doing well today because I long ago, reached acceptance and I have learned to live with chronic illness. (See "part of" MY STORY Journal Entry June 20, 2007)
