My name is Beci and i am a single mom to 5 children, 4 of whom suffer from depression and related illneses as do i and have done for some time now.I am currently hometeaching one of my sons! I was born in Denver Colorado, but have been in the UK since i was 5

Interests
I LOVE my digital camera, and take pictures of anything that will stray still long enough.I also like to play around with them on photoshop and turn them into my thoughts and dreams! I also have kinda started going into selling cakes, i have always made my kids birthday cakes and have been pursuaded to go into business, and have since sold 2 cakes recently! I read a lot ans love movies of all kinds, anything from comedy to horror, i'll give pretty much anything a good go. I have written a lot of poetry, mostly about my life or my feelings. One has been published! I love all kinds of music, there isnt much i wont listen to, depending on my mood or the mood i want to be in! Love anything crafty, and am very interested in psychology!

2 of my children suffer from anxiety, as i have from time to time.Its difficult to try and encourage them to get out and do things when i feel the same way they do.

4 of my 5 children suffer from depression.they have all had periods of time off school because of it, and even tho, we had doctors back up and family history, (my oldest 2 girls both had a lot of time off and the school were aware of the reason) i still got taken to court last year due to my sons absense, after a year and a half and a psychiatrist report, they dropped the case,if they had listened to me in the first place it would have been a lot easier, i am now hometeaching my son!

- Trying to motivate my son to doiung his work and keep a diary is hard as he sleeps much of the time and when he isnt sleeping he gets so angry and agressive!

Open Bereavement
Type: Loss of a Partner/SpouseMy ex partner commited suicide almost 8 years ago.He would have been 49 in 3 days (6th June)It still affects both me and my children very badly. We were never offered any councilling and i still get very upset when i have to talk about it. I was with him for 7 years and he was a schitzophrenic alcoholic,and sometimes very violent, but despite the things he did that i didnt like i also understood that he was ill,although we did split up we stayed friends!

My daughter was 14 weeks pregnant and we all so happy about it, she went for her first scan last friday and was told there was no heartbeat! We are all devestated, its just so hard!!
