Max is 7 weeks already today!!! I have to say Motherhood is better than what I imagined so far!  Busy but very fulfilling. Interesting how much less time we have these days to write journal entries. Lol    I’ve been so blessed, that DH has been home with me all this time and shared these early weeks with me!  Less sleepless nights and we get to enjoy Max well rested. He’s such a great baby. Very calm and relaxed. Except for those hungry and tired moments of course!  His sleeping is still so random, but lately he sleeps about 4 hours on his 1st stretch, then anywhere between 2-3 hours until we get up. So that’s not bad at all I think. The other night he slept 7 hours however and I about freaked out!!!!! I think he just went through a growth spurt, and then everything is off anyhow.

Unfortunately I have to go back to work on the 25th and it’s going to be very hard on me. But at least I don’t have to ship him off to Daycare. I’m talking DH into being Mr. Mom until the end of the year and then MIL wants to babysit anyhow.

I’ve truly enjoyed every second I have with Max.  Even his cries still sound like music to me. Lol   And now he’s getting to the stage where he smiles more and makes other cute sounds. It’s amazing how fast he’s grown. He’s about 11 ½ lbs by now. On 10/1 he will get his shots, already took the whole day off from work for that, hopefully he won’t have a hard time with it.

Anyway, that’s all for now. I hope all my DS friends and new moms are doing well!!
