Wow, haven’t written in a while. Lol Quick update…. Max was born 7/21 @ 8:40 am, he was 7 lbs 8 oz and 21 ¾” long. The c-section was so surreal…. But I was prepared so I knew what to expect. I fell in love with Max instantly….he’s perfect. It’s just what everyone tells you and you never know until that moment you hold your little baby, how it feels to be a mom. He’s already 16 days old now and everything is wonderful. I’m lucky enough to have DH still home, so we’re not really going through the “terrible” sleep deprived phase. We work great as a team, so we are good and awake to enjoy Max.
The c-section sure took its toll on me though. Talk about needing every second of the extra 2 weeks they give you off from work for that. Unfortunately by incision became infected and I had to be on antibiotics for a week. It’s still not totally cleared up but I guess it will take some time. For the most part though, I’m feeling much better moving around now. We’ve already been outside for a stroll with Max….
Anyway, things are going great and I love every second I get to spend with him!!

I'm glad everything went well w/ the delivery. It's amazing how much love you can have for your child the instant you meet them. Sorry to hear about the infxn hopefully it will clear up soon and you won't have any more problems w/ it.

Sorry it took so long for me to respond! I'm glad all is well with Max. Our little one (Owen) is one month old today, and is doing well too. Sadly, he's having some issues with colic, but hopefully he'll outgrow that soon. Enjoy your time together!!
