I started sneaking around smoking at 14 years of age. Really did not have a habit just thinking I was cool. When I turned 18 and moved out on my own...that is when I became a NICOTINE ADDICT. I am now 43 years old and have been smoking my whole adult life. 25 year....wow! Funny thing....I never smoke inide no matter what the weather may be. I do want to quit.......that is why I am here on this forum. Need all the help and support I can get.
I have NF1 it was inheirted from my mother. I also have three daughters two of which have NF1. No major problems. My youngest daughter has a plexiform on her right ear, has had quite a difficult time with surgeries and such. Quit smoking 8 months ago (09/27/07)and gained weight. Now trying to get rid of the extra weight gain (25 pounds) from smoking cessation !!! I know I can DO IT ! If I quit smoking....I can do ANYTHING my little ole' heart desires!!! :)
