I am 60 years old. I teach yoga and fitness, and I judge hunter jumper horse shows. I am married and have one grown son who is gay and happily living with another man. My life SHOULD make me happy, but because I can't get my body the way I want it there is always a little cloud over my happiness. I love horses and cats PASSIONATELY! I am married to the nicest man on the planet and he is very patient with me and my little quirks. I want friends who like to communicate with me an a regular basis. I HATE chains and FWDS so if you want them passed along send them elsewhere. Granny Clampett is my Role Model, and I want to be just like her when I grow up. I just LOVE a woman who can do her own doctorin' and sling a shotgun over one shoulder and her jug over the other. NOBODY meses with GRANNY!!!!! I f you want to be my friend read my journal and comment. If you don't I consider you a bad friend and you will be 86ed pronto.

I know, we were terrified that our dentist fund was gonna have to go to tests for Charlie and not even the treatment...Luckily, our Vet is lovely..only a $25 office visit too.
Charlie is still a little off today, not as hyper but, still remembers all his tricks and played a little mostly rested.
Thanks for the concern...we had a rough night last night, I hope it's all better now.-

we were at the dog park yesterday and he was playing with another dog and all of a sudden he made this awful noise and went stiff and tipped over like he was playing dead..his eyes were all big and he looked terrified. He let us touch him all over and move all his joints and nothing seemed to hurt...he got up, walked a little, made the noise again and laid back down...tried to play again, but was real slow, so we took him home, it looked like his back leg gave out on the way to the car. He didn't seem to be in pain if he was laying down, and not even all the time walking so we didn't take him to the ER vet.
Last night was REALLY bad, he cried almost all night, kept getting up and then screeching really loud and falling over, B laid on the floor with him for 3 hours, it was so sweet, curled up with him on the dog bed, from 2-5 am...just petting him and comforting him....this morning after Charlie went potty he seemed ok.,..he even ate and ran a little...we took him to the Vet anyway, and he said that he couldn't find anything wrong, that everything was in joint, his back looked and felt good, and it most likely wasn't anything muscular or skeletal..he said it could of been a minor sprain and that he's freaked about the pain so he wasn't moving much, it could of been a cramp, or a seizure, we have to watch to see if it happens again, if it does we have to watch his eyes. It was scary, and I was a wreck all last night, I was so scared he was gonna have to have surgery or die...My vet says he is a "bad dr" b.c he won't run tests since Charlie looked good lol, he said yeah I'm terrible I'm not gonna charge you guys 600 in xrays and another 100 in blood work to not find anything wrong and tell you what I'm gonna tell you know, have him take it easy for the weekend and watch him for the same thing...if it happens again we'll take blood...here's another free dose of heart worm meds...I think he's a good doc....
Sorry for the long hug...That's the story with Charlie.
