Greetings Momsbreak, Glad to hear from you - dated this month (Jan). Sorry to hear you are not out of the woods yet - Have been down with exactly the same problem, for weeks on end. It is scary, as I live alone. Was put on preventative (Inderal) which worked well, but at 6 x 4 quarters, I got an adverse drug reaction, so am going off it - very slowly - one quarter each 3 days - down to 4 qs now. So far, no migraines. I don't know how you cope with them, and the kids - you are remarkable. Try to get back to me soon, Fond regards JaneD.
GreetingsMomsbreak, Just dropped in to see how you are going, as I'd not heard from you for a while, Hope all's well, Best wishes, JaneD.
Hello there momsbreak9 So good to hear that someone has been having some fun lately - even though you managed to do yourself an injury! - Do hope it heals well - 100% for effort! It's so cold that I've been staying in bed all morning - we've had an elect. increase! Elder d's "partner" is out of jail, so I won't her from her until he's been arrested for something/or she's back in the Psych. ward! She's a sad case. Younger d. has to wait only 2-3 wks now to see the neuro - that's really worrying me: wish they were closer! I've had the X-rays done, so now should get an appt. to get my gum cut back, but I'm not being very brave: the impression for the new Plate has been done, so I need a boost of courage really. - I am a coward with dentists. Do hope your foot/ankle heals up - must have been painful hiking on that! What Mums will do for their kids, eh? Best regards, JaneD.
Greetings Momsbreak9 - I was so happy to her from you - I need all the friends I can get right now!: so sad to her that your sister-in law (?) has it. Done some research, & it seems that the no. of people with it is going up 7% each year! I'm not up on the latest tx. My sister had steroids-high usage, & she quickly changed from a good looking, funny woman in mid 30's, to a bitter, wheelchair bound middle aged woman who's bones were crumbling, & she had a widow's hump at 40. It frightened my daughter so see her change so quickly. I will have to catch up on the lit. Glad to see that you seem to be getting somewhere with diagnosis for yourself - that would be a big help. Take care of yourself- good people are scarce, as Dad used to say, Fond regards, JaneD.
Greetings momsbreak9, Good to hear from you - I think I could handle feeding your lil' man - we have pretty much the same things, tho' I have a big bag of walnuts from Terry (next door). With no lower teeth, I cannot munch 'em! Seems that his immune system is picking up, & that's what I would have thought would be the case. I copped the triple threat yesterday: sudden drop in temp from mild to storms & snow: something I ate(unknown right now) AND
I am homeschooling my youngest son. he gets very sick frequently. He is also showing about every sign of dyslexia. We cant get help from schools, they dont recognize dyslexia as a LD. He is in 3rd grade, though we are stopping 3rd grade work and trying to focus on reading and writing to get him to grade level. trying to modify his homeschooling to find what works best for him!
My son is almost 9. We have delt with asthma in him since he was a baby. He was born 10 weeks preemie, then got RSV when he was 6 months old. Colds are awful for him! Unfortunatly he has a real low immune system though drs dont know why. He cant be around many kids at all w/o coming down very sick.
I'm not sure if I have lupus or not. I have had problems for a long time now. I need some advice or input from yall!
once again.. for my son! He has food allergies to tomatoes and peppers, Cyanne, paprika and chili powder are SO hard to avoid! He also is positive for walnuts and peanuts, he does have moderate reaction to walnuts, but never had problems with peanuts so far. Also lactose intollerent
My father in law has PD. We recently moved from Oregon to Washington to be closer to them as we were driving up here 2 times a week to help. He is getting much worse, and at a rapid pace. I am here looking for support and advice.
Was Dxd with Raynauds a year or so ago, though I have had it for as long as I can remember! No one seems to quite understand what it feels like to ALWAYS be cold!and to have such pain in hands and feet from it! Hey it is easy to get my boys outa bed though! Cold hands work every time!!!
I have had migraines for years. I take Midrin (after several other migraine pain meds didnt help) during a migraine. usually get one to 2 a month. The last month or so I had 5 migraines, started having left side numbness in hand leg and face, now has started on right side, also spacy in thinking, cant multitask, keep train of thought etc, dizzy offbalance etc. Neurologest just put me on Topamax
We are in the testing for it phase right now. My son is 9 and has had issues for a few years.
My son is lactose intollerent.
