      ;   Well many people hate to turn 50 but I was a happy camper for I never thought I'd make it  and I did by God's grace that never leaves me alone in this lonely world of hep c. At times it can be so isolating to me  by leaving me sick unable to get out of bed , but faith does show threw for a better understanding about life and what is expected of me is what I see down the road,   sometimes things are hard to explain but I know in my heart the answer is , Help and Love one another, BlueEyed                      …

      I'm Hep C positive with R/A and Hemochromatosis also have mixed cryoglobulinemiaI've been Hep C positive for 20 yrs but only started bothering me severly 2 yrs. ago. Now at end liver stages.Genotype 1a

      Treatments

      Interferon Not Working
      side effects too bad and white blood cells too low
      Liver Transplant Considering
      pending
      Pegylated Interferon Not Working
      anemia blood transfusions doctor removed

    • Close Hemochromatosis

      My liver doctor found my ferritin level to be 858 normal is 20 to 100, On one other time it was1200 this also causes liver damage.

    • Open Cirrhosis

      I'm 48 yrs old and in stage 4 end liver diease with hemachromatosis, hep c and fatty liver, cirrhosis is forsure there due to everything that has been going on for along time.

      Liver Transplant Considering
      not too sure about a transplant.

    • Open Rheumatoid Arthritis

      I'm Hep C pos. from a blood transfusion and now have been diagnoised with R/A

      Treatments

      Prednisone Working / Worked
      been on for 20 months also have cryoglobulemia which deals with joints and inflamation, low dosage except at breakouts. very little help, weight gain,say I can't do R/A meds because of liver not being able to filter them I need to go to a Rhem. doc.
