Well, some people lack common sense. I was just researching some more info on what other type of headache I might have. Along with the MTBI, Post concusion headaches, I might have damaged my trigeminal nerve and have cluster headaches. All I know is that they are not fun and my meds are starting to not work, AGAIN. I go to the doc on Thursday. I just want them to diagnose me properly. Help me get the pain under control.

    Hey Jiminator,

I am amazed that you are able to function at all being in a coma that long.

My son had bacterial spinal meningitis at 14 months old and was in a coma for 3 weeks. I was there every day, all day until closing time. My son was without clothes and hooked up to machines. I wonder if I touched him. I never lost hope and one day he opened his eyes and smiled. I taught him to crawl, walk and talk again.

I cannot imagine being so horribly injured and then have medical professionals treat you like you are a non-person. I said a prayer for you twice today.

God keeps me going and I'm not sure where he is leading me but during my surgeries and at every doctor's appointment I noticed the medical assistance were my first contact and so many times I thought the worst. God blessed me with 100% nice people...the medical assistants and so I'm enrolled in college full time come fall to go through the medical assistant program. I want to be one of those people who makes a patient feel they are going to be okay and I will always be kind. I guess that's why I was so struck by how horrible the nurses treated you.

I agree nurses are 'hard core' and they play 'god' sometimes.

I hope you will find out what our Father in Heaven has planned for you.

I think you being here at DS and sharing your horrific experience and came out of it gives others 'hope' where they may see none.

I admire your courage and strength to carry on. My cousin was a passenger in a Corvette that went over a cliff and the car ended upside down in someone's back yard. She was in a come for about 12 months and has such terrible muscle spasms. Unfortunately she turns to the bottle to cope.

I hope your tomorrow is bright and that you will sleep soundly tonight.

May God's peace be with you.

I only have a 50 mcg fentanyl patch. I take other meds as needed to kill the pain. Today is not a good day. I will have to catch up with you later. The lake is beautiful. Wish I was there.

I hope you can get that all straightened out. I have been still feeling the same, like grap. I had a decent day yesterday, but am paying for it today. I didn't sleep all night and maybe got in about 4 hours of sleep. I need to get to the pharmacy but am too medicated to drive. I still have a few hours yet though. Take it easy.

I read your profile. You asked how others deal with the agony of emotional and physical pain...I prefer to be alone. I can't tolerate shit from anyone and cut anyone out of my life that hurts me. I don't give second chances.

When I go outside I wear my dark sunglasses - I feel like I am invisible.

I do go to group therapy and take meds-the meds save my life.

I am so sorry how the nurses treated you in the hospital. They should be FIRED and have their RN licences revoked!

Your posted message makes me want to throw a plate against the wall.

I hope you will feel better later today.

    Peace be with you.

Before I start, Leila is my new granddaughter's name. You can see her picture on my home page if interested. She is two months old right now. I told you about her, but you probably forgot.

Your trip sounds wonderful and a lot of fun. Did you ride on your jet ski? I have never been on a jet ski, but I love boats, swimming, don't ski either, but will ride in the boat. Sounds like I missed a good time. I am glad you meet some nice people.

I am babysitting Leila again today, Za is still in Alabama visiting his father. I sure do miss him. It's just a lazy Sunday afternoon here.
