With out you God

who would be my higher power,

who would I turn to

in my time of need.

With out you God

I could not conceive of;

true love or compassion,

or kindness touching my life.

With out you God

the world would become babel,

 with foreign gods

ruling the day.

With out you God

the universe would

become darkened

without light.

With out you God

I would rather not be,

for you are my sole reason

for living and being.

With out you God

man would cease

to have a conscience

of truth or morality.

With out you God

man's search for meaning,

his purpose in life,

would never come to fruition.

With you God

I see goodness,

and love,

and hope,

for all of mankind.
