I have had panic attacks off and on now for 16 years. Some times I go without one for years and then suddenly the scarey feelings will come back and it will start all over again. Right now I have been having panic attacks at night time. I usually take Zanax, but now the dr. gave me Paxil to take; has anyone taken this before and could I still take Zanax if I really had to?

- i just got it today. I don't know what is going to happen. I don't have depression. The pill made my brain feel like it was burning. i am not going to take it again.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- This helps my worst panic attacks. But I think that my body is getting used to the meds, because it is starting to take longer to effect me.
Close Panic Attacks
I have had panic attacks off and on for 16 years. Some times it goes away and I am okay and able to cope. Then out of now where the attacks will come back. Lately I have been having Panic attacks at night. My family really does not understand how I am feeling and they get tired of hearing about my problems So I have no one to talk to that understands how I feel. I just want to talk to someone who knows how awful panic attacks are.
