About Me
I am 33 years old and am married to a wonderful husband. We met on a blind date, of all things! I am the supervisor for a children's mental health agency that provides home & community-based services. I'm also in the process of going back to school to become a Registered Nurse. We have 2 cats (our "babies" for now), and an older home that we are currently renovating. We've been trying to have a baby for longer than I care to remember!

Thanks for all your support! I hope things continue to go well for you, too! 11/12 will be here soon. Will you find out the sex or is it too soon?
Hug
Hi, sweetie! How are you? How did your appointment go yesterday?
Hug
Oh, I'm so glad your appt is today - I'll be excited to hear your update!
Hug
I decided to stay home afterall - and I'm very glad/relieved. DH had to leave yesterday for a business trip :( He won't be home until probably Saturday and then will leave again Sunday for over a week :( :( So no more pampering for me! I do have some friends/family who have offered to help in any way they can . . . so I'm not stranded but it's just me and 5 animals to take care of! Luckily they've been very good so far and Todd left me in a good spot with as much taken care of ahead of time as he could. I have work with me that I haven't even looked at . . . so I'm hoping I'll have enough energy to at least organize some things and get a few things done to make going back a little easier. My supervisor is supportive as are my co-workers who know . . . I just worry about the families I was to see especially since I was sick (from all the meds I think) and cancelled the same people last Tues. But I am going to put myself first . . . and try not to feel too badly about it . . . this is just too completely important!
Glad to hear things are calming down a little for you you . . . you deserve to just be able to enjoy your miracle already!! When is your next appt?
Prayer
Prayers going up for your friends DH.

Close Infertility
Type: EndometriosisTTC since 2005. Just recently diagnosed with endometriosis. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage (9/11/06). 8/18/08 had a low positive beta but it was not viable. Other than that we have had no luck. It's so hard not to get discouraged...
Treatments
- Basal Thermometer Not Working
- Stupid waste of my morning time. Stressed me out. RE told me they're not reliable anyway. But I continue to take my temp every day in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, it will work!
- Clomid Not Working
- No major side effects except for killer hot flashes! I ovulated 6 times w/Clomid, but it seems to have caused my estrogen to decrease a lot, so did not conceive on it.
- Estrogen Patch Working / Worked
- Leaves sticky marks on my behind! But keeps my estrogen up.
- Folic Acid Somewhat Helpful
- If I do get pregnant, at least I won't have a folic acid deficiency!
- Follistim Working / Worked
- Started on 10/8/07. Helped produce the most follies I've EVER had! Love the smaller needle, too.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- 'Cause I love getting shots you-know-where!
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Somewhat Helpful
- No tubal blockage, but I have a uterine septum. This test was painful for me!
- Hysteroscopy Somewhat Helpful
- Hysteroscopy showed that I have a uterine septum. One more roadblock!
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Progesterone suppositories...what a pain.
- Repronex Working / Worked
- Menopur - so far, so good - but no pregnancy yet.
Close Endometriosis
Just had hernia surgery; turns out my hernia was a hardened mass of endometriosis. Had laparoscopic surgery last week, and my RE removed all the endo with laser. We'll see what happens from here...
Treatments
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- Uterus looks good except for huge septum that runs down the middle of it!
- Laser Surgery Working / Worked
- Very little pain afterwards.
Open Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
Miscarried in September '06, haven't had any luck since then, but hoping to very soon! Have 2 problems - endometriosis and a uterine septum - that are severly delaying our best efforts!
Open Pregnancy
I'm pregnant after 3+ years of infertility and 1early miscarriage.
