I have fibromyalgia, MVP, MyofascialPainSyndrome, degenerativeDiskDisease, IBS,carpal tunnel, plantar fascitis in both feet,bone spurs, spondylolethesis L5-S1, and a couple of other things Ialways forget because I have so many darned things wrong with me. I am in constant pain 24/7, and have ben since I was 19 yrs old. I am now 50. I was dx'd with the fibro 13 years ago. I lost my husband due to this DD, I have one darling daughter who is 22 and lives in Manhattan . I am very lonely and depressed.

Close Chronic Pain
I have numerous chronic pain conditions, including fibro,MPS,RSD,DDD, and other letter identifing things,lol. I also have spondylolethesis L5-S1. I have been in pain since I was 19 and am now 50. I was dx'd 13 yrs ago.
Treatments
- Methadone Too Soon to Tell
- Just started last month, hate it due to the stigma and how it makes me feel so low and depressed.
- Fentanyl Somewhat Helpful
- I have been using this for the past 6 years. With ok results,not great.
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- I had to stop this great med due to terrible,horrendous skin problems, after great results for 6 years.
Close Fibromyalgia
I was d/xed with fibro 14 yrs ago. I also have numerous other pian syndromes, conditions, orthopedic problems. I am now 52, rasied my 24 yr old daughter myself, and am single again because new H decided he was cut out for all the crap I have to go through. this after only 4 yrs of marrriage. So I have been alone for the past 4 years, since my daughter went away to college and has since moved. I do have a dog and a cat for company and try to garden a little bit when I feel up to it.

- Acupuncture Somewhat Helpful
- tried it for 3 months, three times a week. Very little benefits
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- this is one of the best trteatments for me. I wish I could afford to do it more or even ( wishes)own one.
- Cymbalta Not Working
- horrible side effects
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- have terrible skin reactions to the patch but worked well for me
- Effexor Not Working
- see above
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- helpful once in a while
- Lyrica Not Working
- horrendous side effects
- Morphine Working / Worked

- worked well but RUINED my TEETH

my daughter was recently told she has pcos and I want to learn all I can about it. so far soome of the symptoms fit, but not all of them.
Open Dercum's Disease
I have very apinful lumps in both arms from the shoulders to the elbow joint. I also have one lump on my back. I am having a surgical biopsy in August. I didn't even know about this group but I am glad i found it here.
