I just had my scan on Friday and baby's heartbeat is at 128 beats/min, yay!! Saw the scan and he/she is like a lil' bean, soooo tiny!! Told DH and he was so excited to hear, but was so disappointed that he's missing these 1st scans. The doc said that they were going to do another scan next Fri just to confirm everything is really ok, esp after the whole bleeding episode. I'm taking it real easy and not doing much, cos that scare was just too much for me.

Feel so exhausted and tired all the time, but it's all normal. And talk about morning sickness, its more like all-day sickness!! I'm just queasy the whole day long. Planning on buying one of those seasickness wrist bands cos they apparently work. I just hope that this nausea lasts only for 3 months and not more than that!!

DH is coming back in 2 weeks and am just counting days before he gets back. Can't wait to see him. We haven't really had anytime together since we heard the good news. Haven't told him about that whole bleeding episode yet, and will not until he gets here. Don't want him to panic unecessarily.

So its offical I'm PG!! Got my 1st beta yesterday and it was 163. Doing a 2nd beta on Thurs 27th, and the 1st scan is in the 2nd week of Jan. I'm so excited!!! The wait's been a hard one, but it all paid off.

Got a surprise from DH this morning - he sent me a beautiful bouquet thanking me for all that I went through. He's just so sweet! Gosh, I love that man to death! Haven't talked to him yet today and will probably give him a call soon to thank him. Can't do it right now cos its too early there and he probably hasn't woken up yet cos he's still jetlagged.
