ive had Hydrocephalus since i was 6 weeks old due to a brain hemorrhage i was born at 13 and a half weeks premature weighing in at 1 pound 13 ounces i am now 23 years old with 2 VP shunts)my last surgery to date was July 2009
Treatments
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- i take 2 500mg tablets when needed and they take the edge off the headache
- Prozac Not Working
- didn't work for me made me feel tired
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- this has worked wonders for me
- Shunts Working / Worked
- had a lot of problems whole new shunt system put in July 09
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- Relaxation Somewhat Helpful
- i cant seem to relax always very tense
- Raising Bed Position Working / Worked
- Reading Working / Worked
- it works when i find the time to fully concentrate
Close Chronic Pain
i get headaches everyday
