hey i was 16yr when i hot glandgia fever(cant spell) the doctors finally said i had cfs 2yrs ago but ive missed out on so much like birthdays prom going out school im here4 u and your daughter if u ever want to talk take care x

Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
My daughter was just diagnosed with CFS, after 1 1/2 years of struggling with various illnesses and persistent fatigue. We have had a rough time dealing with schools, friends, family. I feel bad for my daughter, and her life has been totally altered due to this condition. She has missed out on every fun thing about her freshman year. She is a great girl...sensitive and kind...and yet she is judged harshly by everyone for something that is beyond her control. She just wants to feel better!
Treatments
- Lexapro Not Working
- She got insomnia and a lot of agitation.
- Trazodone Working / Worked
- She needs a higher dose, though, to help her sleep. Its been good for sleeping, though, and has definitely helped her get rest.
- Pamelor Working / Worked
- She takes 25mg at bedtime to help her sleep, and it helps. This is an old tri-cyclic antidepressant, and so it helps with the depression also.
