  Gooooooood morning!!!.........just got to work...7am over here. I like getting here early as I have a wee bit more energy then. I leave early at the end of day to be at home for my daughter. We have more than lupus in common!!! I was a coronary care nurse for several years before I had my daughter and a wee bit after. I loved it too but I can't imagine being able to do it now..on ya feet for 12 hour shifts!!!! I did a little research nursing (BORING) then when off to do a 3 year masters of science degree specialising in psychotherapy. The idea being that I would eventually work for myself in private practise........then along came lupus. Neitherless once a nurse always a nurse!!!!! Hey you have a great day aye??!!!   I was just reading your journal entry from last year............smart girl missing in action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can soooooo relate I am blond and act like one sometimes!!!!!!!!!! I forget peoples names I go into a room to get something and forget what it was in the smace of a mili second!!!! I wake up each day wondering who I will be today.....the normal bright intelligent energectic self or the slow confused slightly senile self who can only put one foot in front of the other and attract strange looks from my work colleagues like "where the hell is Lee???? who is this alien????? I have learnt to laugh at myself and make a joke of it. I hope u r well and taking good care of urself!!! Hugs from Lee a fellow nurse turned psychotherapist!

  NZ is a lovely place! My sister lives in Brisbane. I would love to visit her but my health holds me back sometimes in terms of traveling. Being an outdoorsy person Nz offers so much. If ur ever over this way let me know. Sending you a big hug!!!! Lee(-:

  You should have your doc test you for uric acid. It sound just like mine feet and hands. I have gout in my hands and feet. I cannot bend my middle finger on my left hand. I try to do a lot of handwork crochet, embroidery, knitting, etc to help keep as much flexibility as possible. Good luck. I hope it is not gout but just the lupus messing with your feet and hands for a bit and will soon go away. My thoughts and prayers are with you,georgiah
