    • About Me

      I have been on an adventurous roller coaster ride for the past few years. I was with my college boyfriend for 10 years and thought I would be with him forever...until I opened up the door to my curiousity about women. He encouraged it (before he knew he wouldn't be coming along for the ride), and long story short...I have now been in a relationship with her for the past 2 years. She was my best friend and we both had only been in relationships with men all of our lives. I was badly burned in a Kitchen fire 2 years ago and the exerience is what gave us the courage to be together. My whole outlook has changed since the fire...I believe I can get through anything and most importantly, that I deserve to be happy. With a supportive relationship and the help of a therapist...I believe my journey is leading me to really good places!!

      Sure! I suffer from eczema (skin disease) and deal with scars. So I love the idea of breaking the barrier of what we consider "beautiful" in this world!

    • Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

      I was diagnosed with IC about 10 years ago, when I was 19. Lots of treatments later and still no improvement...I would love to meet others who will actually understand the depth to this chronic disorder!!

      Bladder Distention Not Working
      Horrible spasms afterwards and it didn't have any positive effects
      Pyridium Somewhat Helpful
      It worked for a while, until my body got used to it.

      I was burned in a kitchen fire 2 years ago -- I spent 7 days in the burn unit ICU, had a skin graft, and had to do physical therapy to regain the use of my hands.....Looking for people who are or who have experienced the same thing

      Some scarring but a great recovery! -- full use of my hands.
