Yay!
I'm going up to the Y after work today to join. I can't wait to get back to swimming. It's my favorite form of exercise. I can wait to be in a bathing suit in front of a bazillion people, but I've decided it's in the interest of the greater good.
Laps and aqua-aerobics five times a week.
Now at 273. Not the best progress, but not too shabby either. If I can keep with about a 10lb/month pace I think I will be able to do this in a healthy, speedy way. Feeling okay today, but not great. I want to keep moving and it's hard now that it has gotten so hot. I am thinking seriously about joining the local Y specifically for the aqua-aerobics. I love swimming and the water. I just need to get over my body image stuff. I can also walk the track which will be climate and pollen controlled. Summer in the south is the pits sometimes...
This time I *WILL* do it.
I have yo-yo'ed all my life, spending more time up than down. I am determined to get rid of the extra pounds and enhance both my cardiovascular and muscular health, for my sake and the sake of the little ones I will eventually bring into the world. Fat Smash is working for me, and I believe that it will continue to work. After a month and a week, I am well on my way. I joined this community hoping that it will help me keep motivated.
