Oh, what a hellacious week with David's mom. I'll make it short and sweet. It started on Monday morning when David went to 'borrow' her car because my van needs to be repaired. She said "Since the doctor says I can't drive it, you should use it instead of letting it just sit here." Well Monday night the phone calls started. "Where's my #@* car? You stole it and I'm calling the police and having you arrested! David tried telling her what she said. And she said she said no such thing. And since then, she has called every day for the entire week, many times a day with threats. She's getting so out of control. We just don't know what to do. AAAGGGHHH!!!

Was she this way before the Alzheimer set in? We both know that anything to do with the brain can make you mean(er)! Does she ever just wear herself out, or is it a constant battle with her all of the time?

Well, the way I knew something was 'wrong' with her was a couple of years ago she started telling me what a wonderful person I was and that she knew the first time she met me I was 'the one' for her son. Truth is--she hated me from the beginning because I married her only son/child and took him away from her. The disease has made her meaner toward David, not me. She actually likes me now. And, no, she doesn't wear herself out. She's the energizer bunny. She keeps going and going and going.
