Have you ever heard the expression that some one who represents themselves in court has a fool for a client, well guess what its true. I just got back from a wonderful Christmas in Utah and returned to a stack of mail. Got a check, a gift card and few Christmas cards oh and something from my lawyer's office. Kind of threw that to one side and proceeded to go through the rest of it. Figured it could keep, probably a bill or some bad news. Well curiosity got the best of me so I opened it up and low and behold it contained some interesting news. The, I wanna be so bad ex has new representation and guess who it is. Yes the fool is representing herself, at least for now. We don't go back to court until September so I guess she figured why pay a retainer for nothing. The former lawyer was supposed to be working of free but since she now got a lump sum from me I am guessing her lawyer wanted some of it to go her way.
So the saga once again continues and alas I am still married to the woman who wanted to divorce me well over a year ago.

well, maybe she's changed her mind? I think she wants a conjugal visit or two :)

There are people in hell who want ice water and they are going to get it before she gets any kind of visit from me.

Way to go Wick. Stick up for yourself. I don't necessarily agree that representing yourself is wrong but it will show her to play the game of keeping this going on for so long when it costs so much money for legal fees.
