Thank you so much to everyone who commented on my journal entry!  It means so much to me!  My time here is limited, but I do try to read yours as much as possible.

 I had a really wonderful day today with some very special blessings.  A friend came over and dropped off a really nice couch, two end tables, lamps and a brand new computer just for me so I don't have to share with my daughter and she won't be gumming it up with her teen problems any more!!! It is just wonderful!  He is a computer whiz, so this computer is absolutely super!  It even came with a desk and comfy chair!    Now I'm cool!

 To top it all off he brought a picture that he said reminded him of me "in my former life"....e.g.  before all this "crap"....he said if I didn't like it I didn't have to take it, but it reminded him of me so he wanted me to have it if I liked it....it turned out it was one of my favorite artists.....Robert Duncan!  It was beautiful!  I LOVED it!!!  It is hanging on the wall right now above my new computer!  With my new lamp next to the desk!  LOL  Even yet I am tearing up at his thoughtfulness and generosity.  The Lord is so good.  I wish there were some way I could begin to repay my friend.  He has been so good to me.

Yes, it has been a wonderful day.  I can't remember the last time I actually said that.  I think it has been decades.  Seriously.  And not because of WHAT I received, but because it was given freely and out of a generous spirit with no ulterior motive.  The picture really was the icing on the cake.  Now the tears are rolling down my cheeks.
