Close Hyperthyroidism

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in Feb of 2003 and in Oct of 2004 I had a total thyroidectomy. Now that my meds are finally regulated (over 2 years later and 60 pounds heavier) I struggle with my weight, my moods, I still occasionally have anxiety attacks, and now I seem to be loosing my hair. It's very upsetting and I don't feel like myself. I thought maybe if I joined a support group I'd see if anyone had the same things going on with them.

Treatments

Thyroidectomy Working / Worked

Somewhat painful. Felt very weak and very cold for a long time b/c of loss of blood. I now have a scar about 4 inches long and meds for the rest of my life.
