I've waiting for a residence to feel like home ever since I  moved out of the house I used to live in with my mom. The apartment I lived in for six months never even remotely felt like home. It was more like parent being out of town and people wanting to party in their home while they're away. Except it was my apartment, that I had to take care of and was (well still am til the end of March) my responsibility.

Now I have my own house, but I'm still waiting for it to really and truely feel like home. I'm still unpacking boxes and getting it set up, but things are still shaping up. I want to feel at home for the holiday.
