Today is my 26 birthday. Man that sounds old! One of my friends said its the first step towards turning 30! Ugh! I usually hate birthdays but this year I decided to be happy about it because its finally a birthday where I'm a mommy! (I was a mommy last year but it wasn't as happy because I was sad that my angel wasn't with me). We decided to wait until my birthday to make it public knowledge. Our pastor at church was so happy for us that he opened his sermon with "Does anyone have anything they would like to thank God for?" and I was on worship team so I was easy access at the front. He walks over to me and shoves the mic in my face! So I ended up telling the whole church! Which was ok. I didn't mind. I have to do it again next week because we only had around 30 people there because the weather was so bad. We got 40cm of snow in 24hrs!! We were supposed to have a birthday party for me but no one could make it because of the weather so we were going to postpone it until next weekend but everyone is busy next weekend! Oh well! My in-laws came over and took us out for dinner yesterday. I got some stuff I asked for like CD's and stuff. They also gave us some baby stuff.. a 3CD set of lullibies and children's songs. We are going to play it for the baby when he/she can hear. I'm not quite sure when that is but I can probably find it on BabyCenter.com or something. This morning my DH gave me a bracelet that says MOM on it (its the same bracelet I was upset about for Christmas, I couldn't bring myself to open it when it came so Stephen said he would hide it and surprise me with it when I least expected.) I forgot all about it until today. He also gave me one of those Baby On Board signs for the car. I've been wanting one of those. Part of me wants to put it on the car now but the other part says I should wait until our little one is in a car seat and not in his mommy's tummy. He has more plans for me tonight but I'm not sure what they are. He always wants to surprise me!
