My wife and I have been married …
My wife and I have been married for 4 years and through invetro, we have new born twins at home. I need someone to …
I just had another Dr.s appointment today. He still hasn't dropped and my Dr. said today that he thinks we may have a late arrival. He said generally babies are born around 2 weeks after they drop and I haven't even dropped yet so that means that (average) I have at least 2 more weeks to go, maybe more. I'm feeling kind of low right now because I was kind of hoping that he would be born either this week or this weekend. My mom comes to visit in 10 days (Oct 8)and she can only stay a week. I'm really getting concerned that she will come and go and not get to see her grandson. I"m rather upset about that. I guess its just a waiting game.
I did find one thing out today that sent me soaring. My grandparents are also coming for a visit the week after my mom does (Oct 15) (they arrive the day my mom leaves so they will probably miss each other by a couple hrs - ha ha). So if my mom doesn't get to see him my grandparents really should (I HOPE!!) I'm really excited about that especially since I hardly get to see them any more. They are all the way in California. We do have plans to visit them next summer for the family reunion (oh I mean 50th anniverary party... inside joke with my Grandma) We will even get to see my Great Grandma so we will have 5 generations alive in my family!! I know thats rare. My DH's family will have 3 as soon as Alexander decides he wants a bigger room. I keep making a joke saying that he won't let anyone see he day planner.
As far as the MIL issue, that kind of has been put on the back burner. The 2 of them haven't really gotten together but Stephen keeps assuring me that he will take care of it. I mentioned to him that I'm worried about his mom taking over our parenting roles and he said he was worried about it too so I'm hoping that will be incentive for him to do something. When its just me and her I try to stick to subjects I know are safe and nod along. Thats about all for now. Keep hoping and praying that Alexander will arrive soon. I can't wait to meet my son!

Doctors have been known to be wrong. It can also happen very quickly. Take care and remember things work their way out sooner or later, hee, hee.
