Sorrry, I didn't get it either - unless Norm is an NT - then would explain the joke.
NTs often don't see us Aspis as people who succeed, who are intelligent and are detail oriented. And, unlike Aspis, they often don't take a lot of time to "figure things out".
BTW, I don't really think my joke (above) is all great. Oh, well.

I'll explain. I told it to hospital staff and they got it right away. Norm has double meaning NT. normal and Norman is a Christian name since 1000 AD.
Average corporation.
Norm 1 and Norm 2 find out the management hired an Aspie Fixit jobber company to come into the corporation, ASPIE FIX EVERYTHING, INC. So two Norms dallying at the water fountain, normal lazy Americans, observed and Norm 1 says,, "Hey, Norm2, the hallway light is fixed!" Norm 2 replies, "I never saw them (Aspie visiting workers)." This is because you couldn't detect they were Aspies, there are no visible traits, there's just ordinary workers in ordinary uniforms with average tool belts marching dutifully around the corporation, fixing stuff. Then Norm 2 continues his reply, "...And I can't figure out how they did it!" This is because NTs are so dumb they can't understand how to fix anything!

It's an NT joke.
Growing up in Canada, rampant were Newfie jokes and Pollak jokes. Anything like that is totally misdemeanor and malfeasant and politically incorrect. Words never describe how foul. Yet, that's humour in old school. Dissgusting like Sambo. Newfoundland residents and Polish or people from Poland. So NT jokes will soon be a brief titter for the next generation.
My Own Theory:
Just watch, as years go by. The status of normal is declining so rapidly, I suspect it's in the beef. This is the only time in history where humans fill their guts with beef.
