About Me
I am a single mom of a beautiful girl. I just wish she would not grow up so fast. I was official diagnosed as bipolar last April. Now that I look back at my life I have been bipolar since I was about 16. It has been a really bumpy ride in my life. I just thank God that He has kept me safe from harm, because I did some really stupid things in my life. Now that I am on a med that works I can see a light at the end of the tunnel!

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed last year with bipolar. I went to see the doc during a manic stage. I was very destructive to myself. I am now on meds, and living a better life.
Treatments
- Fish Oil Working / Worked
- I am not sure but I am still taking it, because it will help with my cholesterol. I can't hurt.
- Geodon Not Working
- This was the pill from hell to me. I became afraid of everything, my personality changed, and I could not stay awake. I could not function. It was a nightmare.
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- I love my therapist.
- Lamictal Considering
- I took for a short period of time; it did kind of help the effects of the Geodon.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- This is the med that I was taking in the past and worked so my doc put me back one it. I am glad to be me again. The doc and I are still working on the dose.
Close Single Parenting
I am a single mom. I left the father when I was 3 mon. I do not ask for support. Thank God for my parents.

- The are the best. The provide a roof, and food for me a my Girl.
