About Me
I was an auto claims injury adjuster, until my ears started ringing. I was diagnosed with Menier's Disease. I am married. My mother passed away on Mothers Day 2007 in my home. I have been suffering from severe depression since October of 2006. My disability ran out in Oct of 2007, now it is a struggle to find employment in a country ready to go into recession.

Riding my quad in the dunes. Going to Renaisance Faires. Hanging out with friends. Collecting fairies and knick knacks that are cool. I also LOVE Tinker Bell and the Disney Fairies.

Close Meniere's Disease
I was just diagnosed with Meniere's in november 06. the ringing in my ears is driving me crazy...it has caused severe depression and anxiety. I am just in the early stages of Meniere's, it is my understanding that it gets worse over time.

- did not work, it is for MINOR symptoms
- Low Salt Diet Working / Worked
- I can tell when I have had too much sodium, sometime my body rejects it and I throw it up...or my ears just start screeching.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI got depressed because of the ringing in my ears from the menier's. My mother passed away on Mothers day 07. I was out on medical leave for 15 months, then I returned back into the working world for 5 weeks...but it was a temp job and they did not hire me because I was honest about my health issues....guess I will not do that with next potential employer. oops

My mother had been battling cancer for 11 years...she had had 3 diff kinds of breast cancer. Now it is in her bones and lungs and they have stopped the chemo...and she lives with me and my husband. She passed away on mothers day 2007 in our home.

- take 30 mg a night and it does not do anything...probably bcs my former ENT thought the ringing was caused by my depression...but it was the ringing that caused the depression.
- Lipo-Flavanoid Too Soon to Tell
- I started taking RING STOP, it it for "minor" symptoms, so far it has made it worse...and at $30.00 a bottle, I am not willing to try more than 1 bottle if it does not get better.

- I listen to ocean and other nature sounds to go to sleep, it helps.

I haven't had a tobacco cigarette in 5 years, but I smoke cloves and flavored cigars...which are probably worse. I quit for new years 2008, I only smoked about 1/2 pack a day. My husband smoked about 2 packs of marlboros a day....for over 30 years and he also quit.

I did meth for 15 to 20 years. I finally quit in 1996, and have only had 1 breif relapse when my husband was on a sick binge and ended up in jail. My brother is 46 years old and still uses it every day. I snorted it, slammed it, smoked it, you name it. I do not miss it one bit, we have things now that we would not have it we were still using (toys, quads, etc).
