Thanks for the hug! How was your Christmas? Hope that you are able to relax a little! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I spoke to my grandma about you today. She was moved as I was by your story. Just by waking up every day and showing up for her, you ARE making a difference in her life. Hang in there!

Sounds like you have your hands full! I just wanted to say hi and you are doing a very loving thing to raise your granddaughter so selflessly. My grandmother saved the day for me many times when I was growing up, so believe me when I say: She will not forget. One day when she is grown, she will truly begin to understand the extent of your love for her and experience gratitude like never before. This is what happened to me, and to this day, my 82 year old grandma is one of the people I am closest to in the entire world. My advice: Practice LOTS of patience, don't forget to nurture YOURSELF, too, and read lots of books together!
I am raising my grandchild and she if 4 I am 50. Just wanting to know if there is anyone out there who is doing the same to see if I can get some discussion with the every day challenges.
