OK, so as you might recall . . . I am an HPT junkie. Have been since this all started . . . can't help myself . . . have no desire to go off the stuff either . . .
So, I stopped at the store on my way home tonight to buy my standard 4 HPTs. The way I figure it . . . I need a fix every day between tomorrow and Monday's beta. So . . . one for Friday, one for Saturday, one for Sunday and one for Monday. At least I'll be prepared for the phone call that way . . . or at least, that's what I tell myself every time.
So, they're here . . . sitting on the counter . . . and I'm a junkie . . . come on, you know what comes next, I know you do . . . once a junkie, always a junkie!
So, even though it's only 6 days post transfer and it's 9:30 at night and I can hardly squeeze out any pee (not exactly first thing in the morning pee!) . . . I decide to just get it over with and see . . . fully prepared for a negative, a laugh at myself . . . and another try in the morning . . . like I was supposed to do in the first place . . .
Within 30 SECONDS THE PLUS SIGN SHOWS UP!!!!!
YEP, I SAID IT . . . A PLUS SIGN . . . TWO LINES . . .
A HORIZONTAL ONE AND A VERTICAL ONE!!!!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now . . . I have to say . . . I have had 2 chemical pregnancies before . . . so I know anything could still happen . . . however . . .
Every other time I have EVER seen a line, it's been what I have referred to as a ghost line . . . we had to squint . . . we had to hold it on an angle . . . we had to look under the light . . . etc. I'd always heard a line was a line . . . but it was never quite the line I expected you're supposed to see . . .
Not this time - this time, no ghost about it . . . it's a line! It's not quite as dark as the horizontal one . . . but it's a definite line . . . no squinting. . . no tilting . . . no kiddin'!!

I fell to my knees crying . . . crying tears of joy and gratitude . . .
Oh, please let this be real!
Oh, please let this BE IT!!
Oh, please let this baby(ies) stay!!!
Oh, I can hardly believe it!!
Could I really be this lucky?!?!? . . . finally?!?!?
I can hardly believe that this all just happened . . .

These days I have been getting up between 4 and 5 am to pee every morning . . . so First Thing in the Morning Pee Friday morning . . . nice strong plus sign . . .
Oh . . . and I feel like crap . . . kinda pukey . . . and just crappy . . . YAY!!
I though I'd sleep so well . . . so soundly . . . such a relief . . . not so much! I alternated between terror that there was some crazy reason other than being pregnant for the "plus" and excitement . . . very relieved to see another, even stronger plus . . . WOW!! . . . this is actually happening . . . we might finally, finally, finally be able to move on to the next worry! I'd love to say, we're going to move on past all this worry . . . but I know better . . . we're in for worry forever . . . well after birth . . . I'm just ready to move on to the next thing to worry about . . . we've been here too long . . .
Love you guys!!!! Could never have gotten here without you!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since there was no trigger shot there is NO reason for the hCG to be there unless you have a baby growing in you!!!!! And getting a positive this early probably means a higher hCG level which could very well mean MULTIPLES!!!!! :-) *I am currently doing the extremely happy for your BFP dance!!!* CONGRATULATIONS! Now I will pray for the numbers to continue climbing and a healthy nine months!!!
