I started playing mario bros when I was 8 years old. some time later final fantasy 3. I was about 13. Whether it was virtual reality or being high I was rarely seen on Earth. When i was 17 I dropped out of HS. I got sober at this point forgetting video games existed for 4 years. college reminded me and down i went, wouldnt do HW, had to do FFXI. 30 us dollars = 500,000 gil! Day dreaming at work of FFXI. My player achieved lvl 50 i went from electrical engineer to gas station attendant.

It is difficult to identify with alcoholics. I can substitute playing wow for drinking though. And the social aspect has helped bring me back to reality.
