I'm new at this site but i'm HepC genotype 2a since 1976, 1st treatment in 2000 for 26 weeks, & 2nd treatment 2002 for 52 weks.. My enzyme counts are going back up from last blood work.. Next week I go to yet another Dr. There's a new drug by Schering-Plough called boceprevir that I'm going to ask about. Found it on the Mayo Clinic web site.. Oh, the 1st Dr. I went to in 1992 (SUSAN SMITH in SC) told me there was no treatment & go home & prepare for a slow painful death! Wish i could have a new liver & kick around another 30 years.
