Im doing better today. I have lost my patience about three times today. My son is doing okay. He hasnt thrown as many fits in the past few days, but he has some. It is really hard for me to know excatly what to do when he has them. Foruntally, Im hoping that help is on the way.

Hi there! You are not alone. My daughter was just diagnosed with Autism she is 3 1/2 and I am a stay at home mom with 2 other children at home. I live in a really small town and there isn't any help available so I understand your frustration. What helps me and my husband is just talking and trying to find a solid support system. Our daughter throws awful tantrums that can last 3 or more hrs. We found that talking in a low monotone voice was very comforting to her when she threw fits, we would just stand level to her and say it's ok, and just kept repeating it over and over and she calmed down. I think you just need to try different approaches to your sons tantrums and see what works for you. Good luck, I'm here if you just need to chat. I'm in the same situation.

Hey, how are you? I just wanted to say hang in there. I think at this age these are things most parents deal with. I have a friend with a 4yr old and I try to figure out what's autism and what's typical toddler behavior. Sometimes it's not too far off. My son gives me a hard time too. He's potty trained til you make him mad and apparently he got mad 3times today. Once in walmart! I know it's demented but whenever I see someone elses kid acting up really bad I smile secretly and move on. lol
