I'm 44, with 2 teenage boys. Divorced, but back together with ex. My boys both have ADHD and ODD. They're a handful to say the least lol. My youngest also has Social Anxiety and Agoraphobia.

Close Tourette Syndrome & Tic Disorders
Was officially diagnosed at 31, but I know it started as a child.
Treatments
- Haldol Somewhat Helpful
- When I don't take my Haldol, my Tourettes acts up, so I guess it's workin.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHi. My name is Julie and I'm 44 from Pa. I have major depression. I was diagnosed in the late 90's after my first hospitalization. Hope to make a lot of new friends here. Also to be a friend to anyone. Take care everyone.
Treatments
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Seems to be workin. When I don't take it, I can tell I need it.
- Electroconvulsive therapy Not Working
- Just took some memories away, diminished some intelegence, and some memory problems.
Open Obesity
My highest weight was 236 after my first child. I have 2 children now. I am close to or am 300 now. My depression has a lot to do with it, plus my meds probably play a part in it too. I have no willpower to stay on a diet. I love to eat. I eat for compfort.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Considering
- My hardest to avoid is junkfood. Especially chocolate!
- Physical Exercise Considering
- It's so hard to exercise at this weight. I get out of breath real easy.
Open ADHD / ADD
I have two boys ages 17 and 19. Both have ADHD and ODD. My youngest also has Agoraphobia and Social Anxiety. I also have ADD.
Treatments
- Ritalin Working / Worked
- The Ritalin helps me a lot. I'm real productive durin the day, and it keeps me from sleepin all day.
Open Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety
I myself don't suffer from the disorder, but my 16 year old does. He was recently put on Zoloft and Risperadol. It's workin great for him. He's really improved a lot.
Open Prescription Drug Abuse
I'm on Ritalin for ADD. I need it, but I also don't take it the way it's perscribed. I crush it, and snort it. I'd like to stop and take it the right way. Hard road ahead for me. Hope to make some friends on here.
