About Me
I am the mother of 4 wonderful boys, ages 17, 14, 12 and 5. I was diagnosed with lupus at age 30, after my third son was born. I wasn't supposed to be able to have any more kidlets, but then, on Mothers Day 2001, Dawson was born. My husband and I have been married 22 years, and he is great. He suffers from BiPolar disease, and this has been a real challenge, but what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger! We have been through a challenging year, loosing my father in law plus other stuff.

i hope yur doing well, how are yur boys doing, how was the fourh of july weekend, been out for any fun family trips,, well as me working at the ole corner grocery store, moved bck hme for finance reasons, still working on ym addiction recovery, been spending ttyme with the newphews and niece's at the swimming pool, and headn out soon to yellowstone national park, for a couple of days be bck around prolby sumtime after the 10th of aug, hope yur doing well, blessings and rainbows,

I was diagnosed with SLE just after my 30th birthday, when my 3rd son was born. I had JRA when I was 4-16 (went into remission at 16) and my mom always thought I had lupus, but our dr. said "no". Well, I got tired of being told it was in my head, changed drs, and the first thing my new doc said was "has anyone ever mentioned lupus to you - cause you have it" I was scared but relieved to know it wasn't all "in my head"

- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- Helped some, but made me feel very sick. Quit after being on injections for 2 years. Doing ok so far...
Close Depression
suffer from lupus, psoriatic ra, and yes, sometimes get depressed that I feel this crappy!

I am a wife and mother. Have 4 wonderful sons - 17, 15, 12, and 5. My hubby and I have been married for 22 years. He has always struggled with depression and anxiety, but the past 5 years it has gotten worse. He ended up in the hospital shortly after his father passed in 2005. They got his meds straightened out, and is doing really well now. Hope to get some help and be of some!

Open Rheumatoid Arthritis
Had Juvenile RA when I was 4 -16 when it went into remission. Dx with lupus (SLE) 13 yrs. ago, and 2 yrs. ago, was dx again with the RA - actually Psoriatic RA.
Treatments

- Works ok, but making me very sick. Taking injections weekly, but feel very nauseous on it.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Tramadol Somewhat Helpful
- Just started. Seems to lessen the pain a bit.
