Close Rhabdomyosarcoma
My daughter was diagnosed with aveolar rhabdo on Sept. 13, 2006. It wad found externally on a birthmark just below her belly button and had spread to a lymph node in her groin. Removal of the margins showed no residual disease - scans have been clear since her surgery as have all other tests. She is on a 39 week protocal, already having completed 31 - including 23 radiation treatments. She has handled her tretment extremely well - and her mood and spirits have been amazing.
