Hey girl! Hope your doing good.
Thought it time to set down and have some creamy smooth chocolate! I sent it fresh from HERSHEY,PA!!!!!! LOL
Letting you know that everything seems to be A-ok (omg knock on wood).
Natalee is beautiful and more and more alert ea day. She goes today for her weigh in.
I sure hope it is up. Jamie can still produce about 4 ounces a day, btter than nothing. But baby is taking to the formula pretty good, now.
Had a great time over the weekend. BUT, yes, BUT>>>>> I'm in THE Flare from hell right now and taking it easy. I was preety much prepared for it, but by day 3, thought MAYBE there was glimer of hope, then I thought TOO soon.
So how is Andrew? Did he leave yet?
How about YOU? Are you fairing ok?
Gosh, the holidays are coming tooo fast this yr. We want to escape and just NOT do it. Just attend mass and THAT's IT, but the kids will be coming back, so up will go the tree and trimmings....... again.
Sending you TONS of love and laughs and great big smiles AND YES>>>>> chocolates.
Enjoy your evenings and feel Gods Blessings.
Love,
KZ
I am sooooooo Blessed to have you, Fern!
Really, I am.Thank you for reassuring me about Natalee.
I think Jamie is just way too stressed out is why her milk isn't coming.
I forwarded her you message and she is bawling. Not about YOU, at all, just the day to day stress, potty training Nathan
(HUGE CHORE) and he's at that "NO" stage which is driving her nuts. I said persistance, persistance and MORE. It doesn't happen is 1-3 weeks. He has to train his muscles. Mostly, she has lost her right arm when Steve went back to work and he works NIGHTS! EGAD!
Ya know, she was on xanax before being pg due to PCOS and her head rolling completely around!!!!! SRSLY! HA...she has ZERO patience. Bless them babies & her hub's.
OMG. I am thinking she's going to have to go back to her meds, to help her regulate her mood swings, which, Fern........it IS pretty bad. So, I think that is why she is drying up. She did tell me yesterday that Natalee was awake a LOT more and was taking the formula.
She has ssoooooooo much guilt from it being so hard to breast feed. There is NOT eneough in her to give Natalee.
So, I said, it is better for her to be relaxed and the baby to be eating more, than worrying about the nutrients she cannot give her.
>>> At THIS point! Oh well. She really wanted to do that up to a yr with her, but sometimes we just can't.
God Bless you and keep you, and many thanks for being here for me and the babies.
Your so APPRIECIATED!
Love you to pieces!
KZ
Hello sweet girl!
Hoping to catch you and ask for some help, as YOU are the RESOURCE BABY CENTER!!!!
HA!!
First, I sure hope this finds you doing ok.
Hope all is ok and your son, Andrew is better now. Did he already leave? Can't imagine how you must feel. But May God Bless him and I pray he will learn and grow and be safe.
Wanted to ask you, Natalee had her weight CHECK yesterday. She is 16 days old and weighed IN at birth at 10.2, but as babies lose some weight the 1st week and that being normal, she weighed 8.12 or around that, then this week only 9.7?
Per the nurse, that isn't good?
Jamie is starting to dry up already too, but Natalee sleeps like 4 hours at a time..Jamie wakes her and feeds her, 3-4 oz is all she'll take. AND that takes about an hr to get it down her, PLUS I KNOW that breast milk makes runny diapers, but she must chnge her like 4 x's after her feeding or while she is preparing to. (Jamie has to pump and yes, Natalee still TRIES to latch on, but never could)
Between me & you..... Natalee doesn't keep her eyes open for long, but she DOES stare at you for a good bit, when feeding.
She DOES make a tight fist as we heard about that...and when she sleeps or is a wake, she is SOOOOOOO relaxed....her hands are open (which we heard is suppose to mean, contented).
She cries good and I told Jamis to let her for a bit,of coarse, for her lungs.
Jamie tried all different nipples for the bottles and she IS getting in her, just not enough I guess?
Do you think all is ok? To me, she should be focusing more. Is almost like the light is too bright,ya know how we squint if it is, but that isn't it.
She just keeps them closed more, TO ME.
I told her to wake her up about every 3 hrs for sure, let her stretch and cry then feed her. She hiccups good when she is full.
I just am not sure......
Maybe I am reading too much into it, worrying how she MIGHT be when born.
Anyway, your the MOST knowledgeable, and most RELIABLE person I know.
No rush back sweet friend.
Whew, we have the kids coming in tomorrow nite! Will be ahouse FULL Sat!!
Take care and hope your feeling a little better now?
Hugs and love,
KZ

I have lost 4 babies. The first was years ago between my first and second biological children. The next 3 started in 2004 trying to have one more baby before I got too old to do so. Some health problems had prevented us from having a baby for aoubt 10 years and we were desperate to have one more.
My father was just diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He will be 69 in Feb. I don't yet know his Gleason score or any details, which is the scarey part.
My father was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive prostate cancer. He will be having surgery March 5 in Ohio. I plan to be there.
My son has a speech delay and I am having trouble getting his services to be extended past Early Childhood Intervention. And I think he has apraxia.
