We are participating in the first annual Iowa Walk for Lupus Now because our family & countless other families have been deeply affected by Lupus. Please support us in raising money to support the Lupus Foundation of America, Iowa Chapter.
Their mission is to improve the diagnosis & treatment of Lupus, support those affected by the disease, increase awareness among health professionals & the public, & find the cause & a cure.

Kendra, naturally I'm very supportive of your cause, but due to severe limitations on my decreased income, I have to limit my contributions to several lupus organizations in Texas plus the national ones, LFA, and The Alliance for Lupus Research. Also my daughter, unable to walk in the Austin Walk for Lupus, is unable to walk far at all, but promotes that walk seeking sponsors of her own here. All these contributions here leave me without any left over for out of state efforts, but I am deeply sympathetic with your cause, and hopefully with other states' efforts of their citizens we can get the word out about this tragic disease.
