Today is May 2, 2009. Hard to believe I am still dealing with this disease after 9 years of on and off treatment. Chelsea is now seeing another doctor witch claims she has Rocky Mountain fever and her thyroid is lower then it should be. She is on Fluconazole, and sinthryoid.He thinks the Fluconazole with kill all the lyme co-infections. I feel different. Chelsea has not ran a fever for 38 days. Longest since she has been off IV's.She is on : Fluconazole 50mg 1 X a day Sinthryoid 25mcg 1 a day Pro-bitoics 15 billion Burbur 2 X 1/2 before Samento(cat's claw) B-12 Vit. 500mg Ormega- 3 2 X oregano oil 2 X Ester-C 1000mg 2 X( we are changing this to a powder soon) Min - multi-minerals 2 X Magnesnesium 500 mg. 2X(which her new doc. said this could be worse for some bacteria in lyme) not sure I believe that one either. So I will keep you posted how she does on all this. He does not like putting her on anymore antibiotics.I am thinking the fevers will return along with the sore throats and she will need some other antibiotic.Ofcourse I pray this will not happen.
