I've been diagnosed with Diverticulitis at least six times since August 2006; it's chronic and never really goes all the way away. I've seen two very reputable surgeons, both are recommending surgery. It's scheduled for 5/23 and I'm anxious about it. Better now than emergently later I hear. They are able to do it laparoscopically...
