I have been given a choice
I am so thirsty
There sits a bowl of water
It smells so stale
Do I drink now
Or do I walk on
I have been told
“Just a little further
There is a spring of oh so fresh water
Coming from the bowels of the Earth”
Do I drink from the stale, stagnant
Waters of the churches?
Or do I go farther and drink the fresh
Waters of the Mother Earth?
Just the smell gags me,
It smells of death.
I will walk on,
The freshness I smell
Draws me.
I can almost taste it
So cold and fresh on my tongue
So refreshing to my soul.
As I drink I feel the waters
Healing all the cuts and bruises from long
Long years of hurts.

Wow nothing like hitting home. I think I may have to type and print that one, it is one you can read again to gian the strength to let go of your hurts. Really like that one. Hugs Naomi xo

The churches are over with. The water of the Living Way does not flow from any church. You have nailed it, KCJ. Only death comes from any organized religion now. All of us get dropped in here with only one freedom, but is absolutely inalienable, cannot be sold, and is present right up to death. It is the freedom to choose. What we choose is entirly our own responsibility. Very simple, yet very very hard. NO punishments; no rewards; only consequences. Letting go is a choice. Holding on is a choice. Doing nothing is a choice. So obvious it blinds most of us. Not me, and not you, KCJ.
