As you all know I have suffered from a deep dark depression
I got control of it in several ways
Accepting myself as I am
Letting go of the things I can not control
Let's step back a bit
What causes anger?
In part not having control of a situation
And trying to control all situations.
Come on now can we really control the weather or the idiots that have caused a traffic jam?
No we can't so let it go and except the situation you are in with good grace.
Can we control some one's thoughts and actions?
Again no
but we can control our own thoughts and actions
Accept YOURSELF with LOVE because you are a very lovable person.
"Depression is caused by anger turned inward"
when you turn the anger to yourself you start seeing yourself as less
and you let others walk all over you
which in turn cuts out your self-confidence and self-esteem
which in turn cause the panic attacks because you are always second guessing yourself
Does this give you a peek into how my mind is working?
I have found that the doctors are good to a point but you have to WORK for the doctors help to make a difference in your life
The more work YOU do the sooner you get better.
Life is a school and we learn from those who have gone before whether they are older or not if they have walked this path and have overcome the difficulties they have gone before you.
You have the CHOICE to follow their suggestions or not
No one can make you do this

Another point is the negativism - always seeing things as "I can't" you have defeated yourself before you have started out.
Think, rather, "I CAN!" and you will get to where I am

I tell my son that everyday!!!!!
My 2 year old daughter said "I can't do that" the other day and I stopped and said "that talk is not allowed in this house... yes you can" (My son thought this was amusing to hear me tell a 2 year old)
There are two books floating around my house the past month that everyone is reading and learning... I think they reflect the "I can" attitude
One is the Little Yellow book of YES! Attitude
the other is Jack Canfield's Law of Attraction
They are both great!

Depression is anger turned inward, that's so true. Now I have to get off my butt and head out with a more positive attitude, as it is not within my control what others 'try' to do to me. good words, kind heart:)
