Yes, I've had them for years. Finger and toenails. I use a fine nail file to help them look better and I use Vaseline nightly. They do look better and seem less likely to break. I was surprised when I read on this website about ribbed nails...Blessings~
I just read not too long ago, trying to find out my medical problems what rib fingernails mean. Let me think,,,,,,, have to look it up, It tells you have something wrong and its not fibro. BRB let me google it.
Yes, Yes, Yes! My thumbnail is yellowish, split down the middle and ribbed as well! That was the first one to go south. Now the ribs are appearing on other nails and all my nails split and crack so easily. Also, if they are not ribbed, they are ridged (vertically)
Check out the Fibro posts! There is a whole thing about ribbed nails! Mine suck! My nail beds also get pain if I touch them some days!

Ribbed nails must have something to do with the liver, I dont have time to research it out but I remember that being a symptom of something.
