  hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well and getting through this hectic and sometimes difficult time of the year. I know I will be glad when the holidays are over this year and life returns to normal. I love the joy it brings my children but somewhere along the way it all got too commercial and greedy for my taste and it is somewhat depressing. We limit the amount of gifts we get our children due to grandparents over indulgence and the simple fact that how many toys and games do the kids really HAVE to have anyway? Dont get me wrong, I love my kids to death and I want them to have things but it gets a little ridiculous this time of year. Ok enough about that.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season. I dont know about anyone else but I am turkeyed out from Thanksgiving. We decided (my mom and I ) to do Italian for Christmas this year. We make great homemade meat ravioli and they are out of this world. My Grandmother always made them growing up for the holidays and it takes a few hours to make  them since the dough is made by hand also. It will be nice not to do turkey or ham.

Jacob is doing ok. I keep hoping for the miracle drug that will work better than what he is on but I have to be realistic that it just may not exist and deal with it. Dont get me wrong , he is doing much better. In fact, school is fantastic this year. The ADHD medicine has made a world of difference but he still has tantrums and his mouth sometimes, the way he talks back drives me crazy .I guess we will talk about it with the doctor in Dec. I still think he doesnt get what i'm trying to tell him at times.  I dont know..........................
